Mode of action
In contrast to the roller-like dermaroller, the stamp-like microperforator is electrically operated and therefore works extremely evenly. However, there is no difference in the way the devices work: both use fine needles to quickly inflict healing micro-injuries on the skin. This stimulates blood circulation, stimulates the cells and leads to natural regeneration. In the case of scars, for example, the resulting funnels are filled by fibrocytes and the formation of new blood vessels turns the skin pale pink again.
Treatment procedure
Before microneedling, an anesthetic ointment is first applied to the affected area. The skin is then neatly disinfected. Cold air ensures that there is hardly any pain during the treatment. A soothing cream is then applied. As a result, redness and possible swelling quickly subside.
