Medical Dermatology

Medicine knows a wide range of general skin diseases, some of them occur frequently, others rarely. Among them are inflammatory skin changes and eczema, skin or nail infections, neurodermatitis and psoriasis. We would encourage people of all ages to confidentially turn to us with their small or larger skin problems. You will see: Together we will solve even difficult problems!

Acne and Rosacea

Not only young people but also adults have to struggle with acne. This is an inflammatory disease of the sebaceous glands for which there are individual therapies. Our experience with combined treatments in the form of both crème or tablets with medical cosmetics has been good. We offer an additional laser therapy for reddening, enlarged small veins, pustules and swellings that go together with rosacea. We advise you in full detail and introduce you into the different therapeutic options, so that we can decide together.

Alopecia (Hair Loss)

As far as hair loss is concerned, distinction has to be made especially between androgenic (hereditary) alopecia, diffuse alopecia and autoimmune-related alopecia areata. In addition to a detailed blood test we perform modern, computerized diagnostics. This so-called TrichoScan® enables us to find the causes reliably. For treatment we also offer mesotherapy, where the scalp skin is subcutaneously injected with suitable vitalizing substances.

Nail Fungus (Onychomycosis)

Mycosis can infect toe- and fingernails. It is not a serious, but an irritating illness. The danger of being infected increases with age. Blood circulation problems, for instance, favour the illness. New, well-tolerated medications, but also laser therapy, promise a successful treatment.

Hyperhydrosis (Excessive Sweating)

Especially in summer, increased sweat production in the armpits or on hands and feet can be very unpleasant. When the so-called “soft” means such as deodorant sticks/sprays or vegetable tablets fail, “Botox” injections can be taken into consideration in order to achieve effective and longer-lasting results. We are happy to provide you with detailed information about the procedure at our doctor’s practice.
