The treatment process – precise ultrasound treatment with patented technology.
As with other ultrasound procedures, an ultrasound head is passed over the skin and creates an image on the monitor. With the same ultrasound head, ultrasound energy is then emitted with pinpoint accuracy into the intended tissue layers in order to generate the desired tightening effects. This patented DeepSEE® technology enables the doctor to precisely select the area of skin to be treated. The deeper subcutaneous layer can also be reached, where previously only a surgical facelift started. This makes the Ultherapy® procedure particularly effective. Ultherapy® is currently the only ultrasound procedure for skin tightening with FDA approval *! (* The FDA has the task of protecting public health. It controls the safety and effectiveness of the approved product. The FDA approval is only valid for the American market or in countries that are subject to the American legal area. After treatment.

The feeling of the treatment differs from person to person. Patients usually feel good after treatment with Ultherapy® and look forward to the expected results. Surprisingly fresh: After the treatment, you are usually ready to go again immediately, special aftercare is not required. Your skin may be a little rosy after the treatment. Even without make-up, you are usually immediately socially acceptable again. However, you should avoid skin-irritating creams, peelings, but also intense sun exposure for the next few days. Use a sunscreen with a high sun protection factor.

Face and neck

In the first few days after their treatment with Ultherapy®, patients often report a slight tightening and overall improved elasticity of the skin. This slight tightening effect indicates the beginning process of new collagen formation and regeneration. Experience has shown that the tightening effect on the eyebrows, neck and chin increases in the following 2 to 3 months, so that a more “open” look is visible in the area around the eyes and a clearer contour is visible in the chin and neck area. These continuous improvements can progress for up to 6 months after treatment. Treatment results over time – it gets better and better:

Immediately after the treatment: Slight lifting effect, improved resilience, fine skin lines appear softened, possibly slight swelling and reddening (erythema), sensitivity to pressure in the treated area

One month after the treatment: Slight lifting effect and improved elasticity, firmer skin feeling with a softer texture

3 to 6 months after the treatment: Further lifting effect and lasting improvement in elasticity, raised brow line (when treating the upper / side forehead area) and firmer eyelid skin, softer skin texture.

Cleavage

After a décolleté treatment with Ultherapy®, the new collagen build-up begins. An improvement in the texture of the skin and the sagging of the skin are already visible in the first 90 days after the therapy. Here, too, further improvements can be observed in the later course. Since every skin has individual differences that can influence the result of the treatment (e.g. different aging status, blood circulation, sun damage, etc.), the result can vary.

Is Ultherapy® Safe?
Ultrasonic energy has been used successfully in medical diagnostics (imaging) and therapy (e.g. lipolysis) for more than 50 years. Ultherapy® is the first procedure that uses microfocused ultrasound for skin tightening and was approved for this by the FDA (American health authority) in 2009. In order to get approval from the FDA, the effectiveness and tolerability of this method had to be proven in clinical studies.

Is Ultherapy® a Surgical Procedure?
No. In contrast to a facelift or other invasive solutions, Ultherapy® is a non-invasive procedure that reaches the lower layers of the skin without damaging the skin surface, so there is usually no downtime after the treatment.

Can Ultherapy® replace a facelift?
Ultherapy® treatment is not to be equated with a surgical procedure, but has proven to be an effective alternative for all those patients who are not yet ready for invasive treatment.

When do results become visible?
The regeneration process is set in motion with just one treatment. This renewal process, during which new, fresh collagen is built up, takes about 2 to 3 months. After a further 3 to 6 months, the final result (“lifting effect”) can usually be seen.

How long does the result last?
Visible results can last up to a year or more individually. The normal skin aging process is not stopped, however, so that further treatments can be useful.
