Herpotherm®: With heat against herpes (cold sores)

Herpes is a disease that affects a great many people time and again. The reason is that it is triggered by viruses that settle in the nerve cells. If the immune system is under stress or the skin is under strain, outbreaks can therefore occur again and again. Antiviral drugs can be used to contain the multiplication of the viruses and limit the phase of the disease. However, the episode is best stopped if the affected areas are treated immediately with heat.

Help at the touch of a button

Burning, itching and swelling are usually the harbingers of a herpes outbreak. As soon as they are felt, the Herpotherm® device comes into play. First, the protective cap is removed and the ceramic surface is held on the affected area. Then, pressing the button, the surface heats up to 51°C for a period of three seconds. Usually, symptom relief is felt immediately. Otherwise, the treatment can be repeated after a break of at least ten seconds.

Effects of Herpotherm®

The relief of symptoms is only one effect achieved with Herpotherm®. The brief heating also triggers a number of physiological processes that lead to attenuation or even complete cessation of the inflammation. For this purpose, it is important that the device is used as soon as the first signs of a herpes disease are felt. For this reason, Herpotherm® was designed in a handy format and can be conveniently taken along.

Advantages of Herpotherm®

Herpotherm® is not a medicinal, but a purely physical herpes therapy. Therefore, in the event of an outbreak of the disease, the device can also be used by children, pregnant women and people with allergies. It is very easy to use and the effect is almost immediate, without damaging the skin in any way. Repeats are possible without any problems, provided that the recommended waiting time is observed.
